Five Eggs & Five Eggs

Five eggs and five eggs

(hold one hand and then another)

Are underneath a hen

Five eggs and five eggs (hold up all fingers)

And that makes ten

The hen keeps the eggs warm for three long weeks

(hold up three fingers)

Snap go the shells with tiny little beaks

(snap fingers)

Crack, crack, the shells go (clap four times)

The chickens, every one

Fluff out their feathers in the warm spring sun
